A Street Quarrel

Yesterday, I went to the market to buy a book. There was a great rush. A vendor was selling fruit. From the other side, a young man came on his bicycle. He dashed upon the vendor. All of the vendor's fruits fell on the ground. He caught hold of the young man. The bicycle of the young man was also damaged. There arose a quarrel. First, they exchanged hot words. Soon they came to blows. There was good boxing. The vendor was more powerful. He beat the young man very badly. At last, the people interfered. They were separated. They realized their folly.Some people laughed at them. Others felt sorry for them. It was a sad incident. The damage to the vendor was more than that to the young man. So he was asked to pay five hundred rupees to the vendor. In this way, the quarrel ended. They embraced each other and went on their way.
