According to the Holy Quran, the prophethood has ended on the last prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Below is the ayah 40 of Surah Al-Ahzaab that states the finality of Muhammad (ﷺ) as the last of prophets.

مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَآ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا ٤٠

Muḥammad (ﷺ) is not the father of any of your men, but is the Messenger of Allah and the seal of the prophets. And Allah has perfect knowledge of all things.
