The Adjective: An Adjective is a word which describes a Noun or a Pronoun

Examples:

“a long rope” a red rose”; “the last day”; “two boys”; “some money” etc

The words ‘long’, ‘red’, ‘last’, ‘two’ and ‘some’ qualify the nouns they precede, so these are called adjective
