Limiting factors in photosynthesis:

Any environmental factor the absence or deficiency of which can decrease the rate of metabolic reaction is called a limiting factor, for that particular reaction. Many factors in the surrounding factors act as a limiting factor for photosynthesis. Important limiting factors for photosynthesis are light intensity and temperature.   Similarly, the carbon dioxide concentration and amount of water also act as limiting factors.
