Direct Narration :

Direct speech means the exact words that someone says. Those are enclosed in quotation marks, which are called inverted commas.

Examples:

1. I replied, "I'm trying to make her brain process her sister’s voice."
2. "Are you looking for your patient?" she said.
3. The doctor said. "Please go and sec other patients." Indirect speech

Indirect Narration:

1. I replied that I was trying to make her brain process her sister's voice.
2. She asked me whether I was looking for my patient.
3. The doctor requested me to go and see other patients.
